LCVRS has a fleet of five ambulances, an ALS Chase vehicle, Utility vehicle and a Gator (ATV).

One of our ambulances is equipped with the ZeroRPM Idle Mitigation System.  The system allows us to cut operating costs substantially. When the ambulance is placed in park, the ZeroRPM will automatically shut off the engine.  Everything continues to operate as if the engine was still running.  This saves fuel and also helps the environment with less vehicle emissions.  LCVRS will purchase two more ZeroRPM vehicles within the next two years.
